Account Director, Social & Influencer Marketing

Full-Time | New York or Los Angeles (Hybrid 3x/wk in-office)

Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 base + growth opportunity

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact leadership role at a fast-growing digital media and branded content company operating at the intersection of Gen Z culture, social media, and global entertainment.

You’ll work with a senior leadership team that has been recognized by TIME100, Forbes 30 Under 30, and ADCOLOR, partnering with some of the world’s most recognizable brands and creators to deliver culturally resonant, social-first campaigns. The work spans influencer marketing, celebrity partnerships, premium content, paid social, and experiential activations — all rooted in data-driven storytelling.

This role is ideal for a seasoned agency-side Account Director who thrives in strategy, client leadership, and execution — not sales — and who wants to help shape the future of social and influencer marketing at scale.

What You’ll Do

As an Account Director, you’ll serve as the senior strategic lead for key client relationships, overseeing campaigns from vision through execution while mentoring internal teams.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Act as the senior client partner and trusted advisor, developing long-term account strategies aligned to business goals
  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated social and influencer campaigns
  • Oversee multiple concurrent programs, ensuring delivery excellence across timelines, budgets, and quality
  • Guide and mentor account managers, creatives, and cross-functional partners
  • Collaborate closely with creative, production, analytics, and media teams to bring bold ideas to life
  • Translate performance data into clear insights and strategic recommendations for clients
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, creator ecosystems, and cultural moments shaping Gen Z engagement
  • Navigate challenges proactively and resolve issues with a senior, solutions-oriented mindset

Who We’re Looking For

You’re a strategic, steady, agency-trained leader who knows how to manage complexity, inspire teams, and deliver standout work for demanding clients.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, social media, influencer marketing, or integrated marketing (agency experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven success leading large-scale, multi-channel campaigns and managing cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and the creator economy
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use performance data to inform strategy
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with culturally driven, youth-focused, or entertainment-adjacent brands is a major plus
  • Bilingual (English/Korean) strongly preferred but not required
