Demand Generation Director

Comp: $160k - $175k base

Our client is a fast-growing AI commerce technology company transforming how retailers connect shoppers with products online.

They are hiring a highly adaptable, hands-on, and data centric, Demand Generation and Digital Marketer to design, build, and run the digital engine that fuels pipeline growth for their platform.

This is a true builder role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment. You will translate growth strategy into action by owning campaigns, channels, systems, performance and reporting.

The right person is equal parts strategist and operator. You are comfortable creating from a blank page, launching quickly, optimizing constantly, and owning outcomes from concept through impact.

The Role:

Digital Programs and Campaign Delivery

  • Create, launch, and manage multi-channel digital programs across paid and organic initiatives including search, social, display, retargeting, and content syndication to generate qualified demand.
  • Oversee website content outside of core product pages, with a focus on conversion optimization, lead capture, and user journeys.
  • Build and run lifecycle and nurture programs that move prospects efficiently through the funnel.
  • Own the marketing technology environment, ensuring clean lead flow, strong system integration, and reliable reporting across platforms such as HubSpot, analytics tools, and CRM systems.

Visibility, Content Activation, and Messaging

  • Develop and execute the organic growth strategy across search and emerging discovery channels, including keyword and prompt research, content mapping, and performance optimization.
  • Partner internally to convert product insights and thought leadership into high-performing campaign assets across channels.
  • Until dedicated hires are made, create core written content such as blog articles and executive social posts.
  • Adapt positioning and messaging for digital touchpoints including ads, landing pages, and web experiences to ensure relevance and conversion.
  • Lead event marketing execution in the interim, covering planning, promotion, on-site presence, and post-event performance analysis.

Measurement, Optimization, and Budget Ownership

  • Define success metrics and consistently report on pipeline contribution, cost efficiency, channel performance, and return on investment.
  • Manage digital spend, reallocating budget based on data-driven insights and testing outcomes.
  • Design and run structured experimentation programs across campaigns, creative, landing experiences, and email to continuously improve results.

What Matters Most for This Role

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience driving demand generation and digital growth within SaaS or high-growth technology environments
  • Proven success building and scaling paid acquisition programs, particularly across search and social platforms
  • Deep experience using marketing automation and analytics platforms to execute, measure, and optimize campaigns
  • Strong command of organic growth strategies and the ability to turn performance insights into content and optimization plans
  • Ongoing curiosity and adaptability as consumer search and discovery behaviors evolve
  • Clear ownership of revenue-related marketing metrics and budget accountability
