Senior Sales Operations Manager – AI SaaS
$125K–$175K Base + Bonus + Equity | New York (Hybrid)
A fast-scaling AI SaaS company is hiring its first Senior Sales Operations Manager to build the systems, processes, insights, and deal infrastructure that power the revenue engine. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, operations, analytics, and enablement — and loves building structure from scratch.
You will partner with sales, account management, product, finance, and legal to improve pipeline visibility, sales efficiency, and deal velocity, all while ensuring clean data and scalable workflows across the GTM motion.
What You’ll Own
Sales Operations & Infrastructure
- Design, document, and continuously improve scalable lead-to-close processes
- Own CRM configuration and optimization (HubSpot) across users, workflows, reporting, and integrations
- Deploy and manage additional GTM tooling to improve efficiency and adoption
Reporting, Forecasting & Insights
- Build dashboards and reporting for pipeline health, funnel conversion, forecasting, and win/loss analysis
- Provide executive-level analytics and board-ready reporting
- Translate performance trends into actionable recommendations
Territory, Quota & Compensation
- Lead territory and account planning exercises with sales leadership
- Support annual and quarterly quota design; track attainment and ensure clarity
- Manage compensation plans, performance tracking, and payout accuracy
Deal Desk Leadership
- Own deal desk operations to structure and price complex enterprise deals
- Review non-standard terms, discount requests, and pricing exceptions with sales, finance, and legal
- Create scalable approval workflows, margin guardrails, and deal documentation
- Maintain deal desk playbooks, policies, and internal enablement resources
- Ensure smooth handoffs to finance for invoicing and revenue recognition
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as connective tissue across Sales, CS, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Operations
- Support CRM adoption, forecasting accuracy, and sales enablement initiatives
What Will Set You Up for Success
- 5–8+ years in Sales Ops, RevOps, or Deal Desk in high-growth SaaS
- HubSpot expertise (admin-level or close); experience rolling out new GTM tools
- Highly analytical with strong Excel/Sheets skills; BI experience a plus (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
- Proven success scaling sales orgs through better systems, process, and data
- Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, building frameworks from zero, and moving quickly
Nice To Have
- Experience with SaaS pricing models, ARR metrics, or legal/commercial terms
- Familiarity with quote-to-cash workflows and tools (DocuSign, Stripe, etc.)
