Commercial Director

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Our client, a global leader in OOH advertising solutions, is seeking an experienced Commercial Director to oversee and grow operations across the U.S. and Canadian markets. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving strategic growth, strengthening client relationships, and improving operational performance.

Key Objectives

  • Lead and expand business operations across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Identify and secure new direct accounts to diversify and strengthen the client portfolio.
  • Consistently exceed revenue and profitability targets within established budgets.
  • Enhance operational efficiency while ensuring adherence to contractual and internal compliance standards.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the regional account team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Managing Director of the region, managing full commercial operations across North America.
  • Drive business development efforts to acquire new accounts in both the U.S. and Canada.
  • Monitor and ensure achievement of financial and operational objectives in line with company goals.
  • Optimize profitability across managed accounts while aligning with corporate strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with formal business processes and client agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with the account team to execute commercial strategies and meet monthly targets.
  • Support and oversee receivables and collections processes as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management, commercial leadership, or business development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of contract management and business operations.
  • Ability to travel within North America as required.

Compensation: $130k – $160k base
