Client Success Manager – Political

Remote – EST

Our client is a programmatic media buying and audience intelligence platform designed to help advertisers in highly regulated industries leverage and optimize their data for improved ad buying decisions. They are seeking a Political CSM & Ad Operations Manager that can enhance client experience, oversee political ad campaigns, and refine programmatic ad operations. Acting as the primary liaison for political clients, the role involves overseeing campaign execution and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main liaison for political clients, understanding their objectives and ensuring smooth campaign execution.
  • Craft tailored media strategies for political candidates, advocacy organizations, and Political Action Committees (PACs).
  • Provide proactive insights and strategic recommendations to maximize programmatic campaign performance.
  • Educate clients on the company’s platform, industry trends, and data-driven audience targeting strategies.
  • Track and evaluate campaign performance, delivering detailed reports and optimization strategies.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Configure, launch, and oversee political programmatic ad campaigns across various platforms, including DSPs, social media, and display networks.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges related to ad delivery, tracking, and tagging.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns through bid adjustments, audience segmentation, and A/B testing of creative assets.
  • Work alongside data and analytics teams to improve audience targeting and campaign measurement strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-4+ years of experience in digital advertising, programmatic media buying, or ad operations.
  • Strong knowledge of political advertising, voter targeting strategies, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple clients and campaigns in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360, Xandr), ad servers, and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate campaign data and make performance-enhancing decisions.
  • Familiarity with political data sources like voter databases, DMPs, and geotargeting techniques.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines, particularly during election periods.

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of programmatic creative strategies and A/B testing approaches.
  • Background working with political campaigns, agencies, or PACs.
  • Certification in major digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, DSP certifications).

Compensation: $80k – $92k base + bonus
