Role: Head of Sales, US
Location: New York, NY (onsite)
Our client is a rapidly growing software company that specializes in customer service and omnichannel contact center solutions for midmarket customers. With expansion over the last decade across Europe, the company is now seeking a strong Head of Sales – US with proven SaaS sales leadership in the unified communications space to spearhead their expansion into the North American market. You will be tasked with creating and implementing a sales strategy, building relationships with key customers, and overseeing the sales process from prospecting to closing.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a sales plan for North America that supports the company’s broader objectives.
- Seek out and capitalize on new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation activities, build relationships with key customers, and oversee the full sales cycle.
- Work closely with global teams across the organization, including marketing and product management, to ensure alignment with overall business strategies.
- Act as the leader for the US operation including setting up the US office, employee benefits structure, identify tech provides, and building out of the US team as the market presence grows.
- Hire, train, oversee NY-based sales team.
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s offerings and the competitive market environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving growth targets in the unified communications category.
- 10+ years of relevant sales experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role, and a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Strong strategic and analytical abilities, with expertise in developing and executing effective sales strategies.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, able to motivate and coach teams to success.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the company’s products, including key features and benefits.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and CRM tools, such as Salesforce, to improve the sales process.
- Ability to build lasting relationships with customers, partners, and industry leaders, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Adaptability to thrive in a startup-like environment with global collaboration.
Comp: $180-240k/year + commission
