Our client is a technology company focused on improving online conversations and community engagement through their platform and tools. They collaborate with publishers and media organizations to enhance the quality of discourse and support independent journalism. Founded in 2012, they partner with over 1000 major publishers and have 100 million people using their services each month. They have offices in different cities around the world and the goal is to use technology to bring people together for positive discussions, making online interactions more pleasant and constructive.

They are looking for a Sr. Director of Publisher Account Management to join their dynamic team. As a Sr. Director of Publisher Account Management, you are responsible for the overall health, retention, upsell, and expansion opportunities across our large enterprise Tier 1 publisher accounts.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for managing and growing account portfolio, collaborating with various teams.
  • Expand key relationships to identify opportunities for upselling and platform expansion.
  • Lead strategic account planning to align partner goals and drive growth.
  • Provide excellent customer service and cultivate deep relationships with strategic accounts.
  • Drive process improvements and adopt a value-driven approach to partner success.
  • Act as a thought leader by creating and sharing content.
  • Conduct business reviews to ensure partner satisfaction and value-driven growth.
  • Maintain knowledge of the company’s products and services.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, business, information technology, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in partner success or business development.
  • Proficient in research, analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, capable of leading executive-level discussions.
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with publishers.
  • Strong passion, empathy, and a proactive approach to providing exceptional service.
  • Track record of achieving revenue goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) in SaaS, ad-tech, or publishing.
  • Skilled in negotiation, including contractual terms and pricing.

Comp: $175-$200k base
