Our Client’s Story

The Problem
The Weather Company was in need of a VP of Data Partnerships to form new partners within the geo-location data, audience data, and weather data space(s). This role required deep experience in B2B partnerships, enterprise sales, team management, and cross-functional communications across the Product and Tech teams. With large-scale data sets and premium ad inventory to sell within a particular niche, The Weather Company knew that finding the right business development professional to form these partnerships would be a difficult search to conduct without outside assistance.

AC Lion collaborated with The Weather Company to understand the ideal profile that The Weather Channel needed for the position. Working with the client’s preferred candidate profile, AC Lion began targeting companies that dealt directly with locational data, RTB (real-time-bidding) solutions, and advertising networks. The Weather Channel interviewed over 60% of the candidates shown.
