A product led shipping tech company had a SaaS product desperately in need of a makeover. Their board and the investors were raising serious concerns about the SaaS platform’s direction. The current Product leader was UX focused, reactive and client focused: a client requested a feature, they got it. But the overall, big picture was lacking.

 

They needed a Chief Product Officer to pivot the product to product led growth and increase its competitiveness. They had hired the wrong product person – and the CEO knew he need to get it right to keep his job.
