Account Executive – Mid Markets
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leading place-based media company reaching millions of consumers through a large network of retail location screens, is hiring an Account Executive to drive new business in an assigned category/territory. This is a remote-first inside sales role with minimal travel; out-of-market candidates will focus on face-to-face meetings with key clients and agencies. Initial focus is on small to mid-size agencies and clients.
What You'll Do:
- Prospect and close new and incremental business with clients and agencies
- Manage your pipeline and forecasts through the CRM
- Hit monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Make independent decisions on programs and rates within company guidelines
- Build lasting client and agency relationships
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture
What You Bring:
- Track record selling media into automotive, insurance, government, banking, retail, or QSR/CDR categories (or relevant assigned territory)
- Experience working through agencies
- Strong self-sourcing, prospecting, and closing skills via phone/email
- Comfort presenting to individuals, groups, and C-level execs
- Strategic thinker, energetic communicator, skilled negotiator
- Organized, flexible, and adaptable to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Existing agency/client contacts within the category or territory
Education/Experience:
BA/BS from a U.S. or international university, plus 2+ years of ad sales experience in digital, OOH, TV, cable, or radio.
Compensation: $120,000–$125,000 base
