Account Director

As an Account Director, you will own renewals and stakeholder management for a portfolio of enterprise accounts, working closely with the Customer Success team and serving as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Own a portfolio of existing accounts, driving retention and growth
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Proactively manage renewals in partnership with Customer Success
- Operate effectively in a team-selling environment for maximum account penetration
- Forecast monthly and quarterly performance
- Negotiate contracts and pricing at all levels, including C-suite and enterprise negotiations
- Lead stakeholder meetings from onboarding through Business Reviews
- Uncover customer strategic goals and align them to drive business impact
- Map stakeholders and build a touchpoint strategy accordingly
- Own renewal strategy and execution against commercial targets
- Drive customer satisfaction and NPS outcomes
- Partner with marketing on customer advocacy, success stories, and testimonials
- Monitor market and industry trends to inform stakeholder strategy
What You Will Need
- 4+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Sales, ideally in SaaS
- Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent listening skills for working with a global client base
- Proven track record in sales and persuasion
- Self-motivated, tech-savvy, and solution-oriented
- Genuine care for client relationships and outcomes
- Passion for testing, measuring, and improving outreach effectiveness
- High sense of ownership and accountability
- Strategic thinker with strong project and time management skills
- Experience negotiating contracts and navigating legal discussions
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment
- Experience driving decisions collaboratively and resolving conflict across stakeholders
- Strong presentation skills across audiences and seniority levels (marketing executives, IT management, database administrators, data scientists)
- Track record building relationships with senior executives in large or strategic accounts
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder relationships to build consensus
