The Role
This role calls for a strong hunter mindset and a passion for working in a hyper-growth MarTech scale-up with a rapid sales cycle. The successful candidate will engage enterprise-level clients across the US market in industries such as retail, finance, automotive, telecom, and travel.
What You Will Do
- Own overall responsibility for managing sales, achieving growth, and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets.
- Interact with clients at all stages of the sales cycle — prospecting, acquisition, platform demos, negotiation, and closing.
- Provide on-the-ground support and mentorship for the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team to generate new qualified opportunities via outbound strategies.
- Communicate value proposition through proposals and presentations, ensuring clients get the most out of offers such as free trials.
- Serve as a market expert, advising the team on trends, unmet needs, and opportunities to extend company offerings; track emerging markets, shifts, and competitive positioning.
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.
- Present sales, revenue, and forecasts to the management team.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales Operations, Sales Engineering, and Sales Enablement functions.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and an up-to-date pipeline at all times.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of quota-carrying sales experience, preferably in SaaS or MarTech.
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiation principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective phone presence, and excellent listening skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and a genuine interest in technology and problem-solving.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with direct sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Superior project and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Prior experience in retail, finance, automotive, telecom, or travel industries is a strong plus.
Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 base salary.
