Account Executive/Account Director — Sales — East Coast
Hybrid NYC (T/W/Th) | ~$125–$150K Base / $250K–$300K OTE

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and close new business relationships across independent agencies and direct brand advertisers within the East Coast territory
- Responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through pitch, negotiation, and close
- Leverage existing senior relationships to build a qualified pipeline and accelerate first-quarter revenue
- Translate the company's premium publisher network, contextual targeting, and native ad formats into compelling business outcomes for senior marketing and media decision-makers
- Lead high-impact client meetings, RFP responses, and strategic solution presentations
- Partner directly with the Head of Sales and cross-functionally with Client Success, Ad Operations, and Product leadership to maximize retention and account expansion
- Build and execute a territory plan designed to meet or exceed quarterly quotas and annual revenue targets
- Maintain pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and competitive intelligence within the CRM
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements across the territory
Ideal Background
- 5 to 10 years of quota-carrying sales success in digital ad tech within the NY market
- Existing relationships across the East Coast with independent agencies and direct brand advertisers
- Proven track record of prospecting to close and consistently exceeding revenue targets
- Deep understanding of the contextual, native, and content distribution landscape and how it differs from generic native networks and open programmatic
- Strong executive presence with the ability to sell consultatively into complex stakeholder environments (CMO, media director, planning, and procurement)
- Strategic, intellectually curious, and highly solutions-oriented
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling capabilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable owning a territory end-to-end and building pipeline from the ground up
