About the Position
Our client — a fast-growing, venture-backed AI marketing technology platform — is seeking an Agency Development Lead to drive sales efforts with global Agency Holding Companies and independent agencies. This role is designed for a proven agency sales leader with a strong track record of consulting with agencies across account teams, centers of excellence, investment teams, and agency leadership. The company is looking for someone to help sign new agencies, consult on the ever-changing AI marketing landscape, and bring on new logos.
The Agency Development Lead will be responsible for navigating agency leadership and account teams, evangelizing the platform and educating on GEO/AIO generally. Success in this role requires a driven seller with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to consult with agencies on the future of AI marketing, becoming an expert in the AI-driven marketing landscape — positioning the platform to unlock innovation and deliver measurable business impact for brands.
What You'll Be Doing
- Use your network to engage with prospective account teams, landing new customer relationships with the largest brands in the world
- Rapidly deliver exceptional results, taking ownership of revenue targets and consistently demonstrating the ability to exceed ambitious goals
- Partner with agencies to support and influence development of an AI marketing business solution
- Develop and ensure strong partnerships and sustained revenue growth
- Present and position the company's unique value proposition, demonstrating ROI and how the solutions address critical business challenges for enterprise customers
- Drive the sales process end-to-end, including prospecting, negotiation, contracting, and closing, ensuring milestones and quotas are consistently achieved
- Maintain an accurate and dynamic sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities to ensure a steady stream of high-value customers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Data, Platform, or Media Sales to an Agency Holding Company
- Proven track record of achieving revenue goals and delivering exceptional results
- Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive business growth
- Familiarity with AI concepts but willingness to roll up sleeves and learn more
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, AI technologies, and their applications in the advertising, marketing, or enterprise solutions space
- Superb communication, collaboration, and analytical abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
- Comfortable working in a small team
- Ability to start as an individual contributor, with potential for future role expansion
- Willingness to travel
Compensation
$170,000–$200,000 base
