Job Title: Vice President of Sales
Location: Remote – preferably east coast
Our client is a venture backed start up that was founded in 2020. They provide specialized tools and services that make it easier for organizations to use the ServiceNow platform for their digital transformation and work with large companies to speed up and scale their use of ServiceNow for better performance and compliance.
They are in search of a Vice President of Sales who is outcome-focused and possesses strategic insight. The objective for this position is to establish an exceptional sales team, guided by transparent performance benchmarks and objectives. The Vice President of Sales will take charge of propelling rapid expansion and swift progress to meet formidable revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Triple the current ARR by end of FY24.
• Identify and implement strategies for rapid revenue growth, setting clear goals and KPIs.
• Create a roadmap to reach $20-50 million in ARR, detailing initiatives, timelines, and resources.
• Lead and nurture a high-performing sales team, fostering excellence and teamwork.
• Optimize sales processes with best practices and technology for efficiency.
• Stay updated on market trends and adapt the sales strategy accordingly.
• Cultivate strong client and partner relationships to exceed expectations.
• Implement a robust reporting system for data-driven insights.
• Manage the sales budget effectively for financial sustainability.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a customer-centric approach.
Qualifications:
• MBA is a plus; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in the ServiceNow platform.
• Deep understanding of the DevOps market with extensive sales leadership experience.
• Successful track record in scaling sales organizations, emphasizing accelerated ARR growth.
• Proven ability to exceed revenue targets and drive rapid growth.
• Emphasis on talent development and mentorship, showcasing strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in using CRM and sales tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
