Role: Senior UI/UX Designer

Our client was established as a training provider specializing in Information Technology, Information Assurance, and Cyber Security. They are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer with a strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and usability. This person will head the creation of user-friendly digital interfaces, using your expertise in user-centered design and aesthetics. You'll also work closely with cross-functional teams to boost user satisfaction and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• In-depth knowledge of front-end development tech and its impact on design choices.
• Offer thought leadership on industry best practices, emerging design trends, and innovative UI/UX methods.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests to understand user behaviors and needs.
• Transform research insights into actionable design solutions for an improved user experience.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to define digital product architecture and interactions.
• Develop intuitive navigation systems for complex workflows.
• Craft visually appealing designs that align with brand identity while focusing on usability.
• Design precise user interfaces that seamlessly integrate with development efforts.
• Collaborate across teams to gather requirements and ensure design-development alignment.
• Effectively communicate design concepts and insights to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of growth within the team.
• Lead design critiques, provide constructive feedback, and promote design evolution.
• Quickly prototype interactive designs for validation and user testing.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback and insights from testing sessions.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 6-8 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects and design processes.
• Master proficiency using design tools including Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Excellent visual design skills, including a keen eye for typography, color, and layout.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile app design.
• Strong familiarity with front-end development technologies and their impact on design decisions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership experience and the ability to guide and mentor junior designers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
