About the Role
NewsBreak is seeking experienced sales and marketing professionals to help build and sell Newsbreak’s advertising solutions to regional specific/mid-market advertisers and their agencies. You’ll contribute to a high-caliber team in a business that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth. We are looking for demonstrated performance in a constantly changing, ambiguous environment, and problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have experience and measurable success in a regional/mid-market advertising sales environment and experience selling a suite of digital media solutions. You will play an essential role in helping build the NewsBreak brand, acting as the primary public face of NewsBreak for this advertising segment. You will also be their voice within NewsBreak, ensuring we develop the products they need to succeed on our local platform.
Responsibilities
· Identify key regional accounts and agencies and establish core customer segments and verticals.
· Define and own account plans designed to unlock investment and drive client’s key performance metrics.
· Partner with teammates and cross-functional partners to structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives - synthesizing market related data, leading client analysis and helping define Newsbreak’s overall business approach to regional and mid-market clients and agencies.
· Prospect and penetrate target client organizations to increase NewsBreak awareness and drive testing and adoption of Newsbreak’s ad offerings.
· Develop plans to help target clients and agencies achieve their KPI’s by leveraging Newsbreak’s ad solutions, creative approaches, and performance ad tech infrastructure.
· Forecasting and accurate client analysis to support quarterly and annual planning.
· Create persuasive sales presentations built on market trends and case studies.
· Exceed sales goals.
· Partner with product teams and relevant cross-functional teams to act as point of contact and deliver collected and consolidated information that prioritizes customer requests.
· Hone in on relevant trends and opportunities in order to craft business cases that support any new requests and/or changes that alter product vision/roadmap.
Requirements
· 5+ years of experience in Media Sales, Brand Advertising, Customer Acquisition and Growth, Mobile and/or Online sales.
· 3+ years of experience managing client accounts.
· Regional/mid-market brand advertising or agency experience.
· Track record of reaching and exceeding business targets.
· Experience working with marketing decision makers in companies and agencies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our overall rewards package to attract top talents. Depending on the position, the role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and options.
