A prominent AdTech firm is in search of a dynamic Marketing Writer with a journalism background to work closely with their Chief Strategy officer to shape its narrative and exhibit expertise for both internal and external communication.
Journalism Background and AdTech Experience
The ideal candidate will have a journalism background and experience in writing for a variety of audiences focused on media and advertising technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating engaging and informative content that highlights the unique value propositions of products and services. They will also have a strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization, as well as the ability to simplify technical concepts into clear, engaging content.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Strategy to create high-quality content focused on reinforcing the company’s Point of View on all content including internal briefs, Press releases/OpEds, Social Posts, Talking points for on-stage
- Maintain consistent branding and messaging throughout marketing materials.
- Craft content to boost awareness and interest in company offerings.
- Partner with subject matter experts, product managers, and sales teams to gather insights for content.
- Shape messaging and narratives in alignment with the company's vision, mission, and values.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging media and advertising technologies.
- Transform research findings into actionable insights and content ideas.
- Optimize content for SEO and distribute it across various channels, such as social media, email marketing, and industry publications.
- Monitor content performance using KPIs and adapt strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5 years of Proven content creation experience, preferably within the B2B tech or digital advertising realm (agency or AdTech company background preferred).
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Profound grasp of SEO principles and content optimization.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, encompassing content management systems and analytics tools.
- A creative thinker with a fervor for storytelling and brand development.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration aptitudes.
- Self-motivated, adept at managing concurrent projects.
- A portfolio showcasing prior writing samples and marketing content is advantageous.
