Our client is a mission-oriented startup, aiming to leverage data-driven platforms to optimize the impact of non-profits and philanthropists. By providing accessible and actionable data, the company empowers non-profits to conduct more effective fundraising campaigns and enables funders to contribute meaningfully.

They are seeking their first Marketing Director to join their growing team. The ideal candidate is well versed in every aspect of the Marketing cycle. This person will be a hands-on contributor while also taking charge of the end-to-end marketing endeavors.

Responsibilities:

•        Formulate a growth-oriented marketing strategy for the US market.

•        Collaborate with sales, customer success, partnerships, and product resources to design, test, and enhance lead-nurturing and Product-Led Growth tactics.

•        Establish and maintain analytics reporting across multiple platforms, extracting crucial insights, and crafting strategies for future campaign development and go-to-market plans.

•        Take charge of the entire marketing program execution, fostering collaboration across various teams.

•        Collaborate with internal and external teams to create and implement an effective SEO strategy.

•        Devise, execute, and assess experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of different organic and paid acquisition channels.

•        Oversee the company website and social media assets, generating content and collaborating with internal and external teams for ongoing visual and copy production.

Qualifications:

•        7+ years of marketing expertise, Start-up experience is required

•        Demonstrated success in optimizing and expanding the sales funnel from both inbound and outbound perspectives, encompassing lead generation and Account-Based Marketing initiatives.

•        Proficiency in formulating GTM strategies, including strategies for product-led growth, and collaborating with content and design managers to develop relevant collateral.

•        Experience in establishing systems for tracking, assessing, and reporting marketing performance metrics, preferably using platforms like HubSpot or similar tools.

•        Proactive self-starter with the confidence to take ownership of projects from ideation to delivery.

•        Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, displaying keen attention to detail, and a strong sense of aesthetics and design.

•        Background in working with small to medium-sized startups, with a data-centric product is preferred but not required.

•        Proven track record in marketing to diverse audiences, including SMBs and managing a substantial pipeline with a rapidly growing user base in the thousands.

•        Highly results-oriented, possessing robust analytical skills.

•        Experience in marketing to customers in the US nonprofit and philanthropy sector, with an understanding of the decision-making structures and purchasing cycles within these organizations is preferred but not required.

Compensation: $140k - $180k + bonus + equity
