Their team is currently seeking a Head of Political Ad Sales. The ideal candidate has a strategic approach to building relationships and will not only drive revenue growth but also solidify the company’s position as a trusted partner within the political programmatic landscape. Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for the political sector in 2024, aiming to capture early-year revenue opportunities.
• Develop a comprehensive sales strategy for the political sector. This includes setting sales targets, identifying target markets, and determining pricing strategies.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with political clients.
• Work in tandem with our client's team to gather insights into the needs, opportunities, and challenges presented by political agencies.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure that the company's offerings align with the needs of political clients.
• Predicting future sales trends and opportunities in the political sector, allowing the organization to plan and allocate resources accordingly.
• Ensuring that all political sales activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, including campaign finance laws and advertising regulations.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in political sales, advertising, or related fields is essential.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience, including a track record of success in political sales.
• In-depth knowledge of the political advertising landscape.
• Programmatic expertise - launch the company's first external sales team to help scale business as organic growth blossoms.
• Must be a strategic thinker who can develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of political clients.
• A strong focus on achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
• The ability to build and expand a network of contacts in the political advertising industry to stay informed about industry developments.
• The capacity to identify challenges and develop creative solutions.
Compensation: $150,000-$200,000/yr
