About the Company

As they continue to grow, they’re building world-class teams across engineering, sales, marketing, and operations - and are looking for an exceptional Head of Talent Acquisition to help scale their hiring engine at startup speed.

The Role

Our client is seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition to own and scale their high-velocity recruiting function across all departments. This is a unique opportunity to be the company’s talent architect - designing infrastructure, sourcing exceptional candidates, managing external recruiters, and ensuring every hire raises the bar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Full-Cycle Recruiting: Lead the process from sourcing to offer acceptance across technical and non-technical roles, balancing speed with quality.
  • Build Scalable Recruiting Infrastructure: Create processes, templates, and systems to support a rapid increase in hiring volume.
  • Manage External Recruiting Partners: Source, vet, and oversee contingency recruiters to deliver highly qualified candidates.
  • Conduct High-Impact Screens: Run efficient, structured interviews that assess both skills and cultural fit while delivering a standout candidate experience.
  • Oversee Contractor Vetting: Evaluate and onboard contractors across functions, ensuring compliance, capability, and cultural alignment.
  • Champion Hiring Standards: Maintain uncompromising quality, even under pressure to fill roles quickly.
  • Leverage Data-Driven Recruiting: Track and optimize metrics such as time-to-fill, source quality, and conversion rates.
  • Deliver Exceptional Candidate Experiences: Ensure every candidate, hired or not, leaves with a positive impression of the company.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in high-growth startups or tech, with a focus on GTM roles.
  • Experience managing external recruiting agencies and contingency partners.
  • Proven ability to assess technical and cultural fit through structured interviewing.
  • Proficiency with modern ATS platforms and recruiting tools (experience with Ashby is a plus).
  • Data-driven approach with a track record of improving recruiting funnel performance.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate with urgency without compromising on hiring standards.
  • Proactive self-starter who anticipates hiring needs and builds pipelines in advance.

Why Join

  • Be the first recruiter at a profitable, fast-growing media company (currently 21 FTEs).
  • Build the recruiting function from the ground up with full autonomy.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to shape the future of the organization.
  • Remote-first culture with flexible hours - focus on results, not face time.
  • Competitive compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 total package.
  • Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, vision, and unlimited PTO.
  • Join a team of A-players who value excellence, speed, and impact.
