Title: Director of CRM
Our client is a prominent direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce brand offering subscription services. Currently, they are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of CRM to lead their customer engagement and acquisition initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing high-impact email, SMS, and push marketing campaigns with the goal of captivating, engaging, converting, retaining, and nurturing customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise with a minimum of 7 years in hands-on management of successful email marketing within B2C e-commerce and subscription-based businesses.
- Proficient in email reporting, possessing a deep understanding of email metrics, trend identification, and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Project management experience, with an advantage if familiar with JIRA.
- Strong multitasking skills and a collaborative orientation suitable for a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with effective presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and fulfill responsibilities within a fast-paced, adaptable environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute CRM strategy, covering segmentation, content testing, deliverability health, and analytics.
- Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to formulate an email marketing strategy focused on list growth, monetization, conversion, and retention.
- Lead a team of 5 within the CRM department and foster collaboration with design, copywriting, and website teams.
- Oversee the deployment of all emails, SMS messages, and push notification campaigns.
- Manage the submission and project management of creative briefs on JIRA for all email marketing campaigns.
- Lead the creative development and technical implementation of transactional and triggered emails.
- Execute daily email operations, including creating briefs on JIRA, conducting creative reviews, setting up lists and campaigns, performing QA, and scheduling.
- Generate and present email results and insights on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Establish a testing framework to optimize email engagement and conversions.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing Analytics to conduct analyses of campaign performance.
- Act as the primary contact for cross-functional partners regarding email initiatives.
